Thank you for considering joining us to become an independent Animal Care Technician (ACT). In order to serve our clients successfully, an ACT must bring certain attributes such as:

C - Courteousness
T - Trustworthiness
An ACT must be comfortable around all types of animals. He/she must be knowledgeable about general animal handling, be organized and detail oriented. Candidates must be clean and well groomed. He/she must be comfortable showing affection toward our clients' pets as some can be quite stressed with their owner away. Candidates must be willing to service clients at various times of the day, including weekends and evenings. Flexibilty is preferred as some clients call last minute for service.
Reliable transportation is a requirement, and candidates must show proof of insurance. Candidates will be required to pass background checks due to the nature of our business.
Loving Paws Of Clermont ACT positions provide client services such as: In home pet sitting, dog walking, overnight services and equine care/farm care (for the candidate who is comfortable around horses and other farm animals.)

The ACT is an independent position (not an employee). There is wonderful potential for earning additional / supplemetal income on a part time basis. We are looking for the right person to help service our growing community and care for our wonderful Loving Paws pack members.
We require all independent ACT to succesfully pass our extensive background check (at own expense), have a current driver license (copy on file required), be at least 18 years of age, and be able to enter legally into our Independent Contractor Agreement.

Earn 60% of all successfully completed assignments (fees can be viewed in our "fee schedule" tab). ACT's are responsible to submit invoices on all completed assignments on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Payment will be issued within 3 days of invoice (Direct deposit available for those who have the capabilities of downloading our scheduling application).
