Marc Gelbke, Owner of Loving Paws Of Clermont and Dog Trainer has been training dogs for may years. Marc has a background in Law Enforcement and K9 Operations and ran a successful dog training and pet care company in St. Lucie County for many years before moving to the Clermont area. His formal training in dog handling for a private K-9 security company and later in training single, and dual purpose canines has lead him to where he is today. Positions he held include K-9 trainer, handler and supervisor with the USAF, as well as kennel operations and is currently a certified therapy dog handler. Marc studied dog behavior and psychology extensively and has participated in many seminars and canine legal updates throughout his professional career.
Marc's approach to training is simple. He understands that there is not a "one-fix-all" method and most dogs require different approaches due to their specific breeds. Marc always applies a positive training method, including gentle pressue and touch, clicker and e-collar depending on the dogs responsiveness to learn.
